Town Council Committees

Executive Committee
  • charts the direction of the Town Council; and
  • formulates and reviews Town Council's policy matters.
Business Liaison Committee
  • establishes and reviews rules and regulations governing commercial premises, shops and hawkers' operations; and
  • fosters social responsibility, participation and feedback from the business community.
Estate Maintenance Committee
  • reviews and recommends methods for the efficient maintenance of the estate; and
  • sets up policies and procedures for the control and use of void decks, open spaces and other common property.
Finance Committee
  • responsible for the Town Council's budget; and
  • reviews the financial performance of the Town Council.
Project Development Committee
  • assesses and implements requests for additional amenities and facilities;
  • responsible for the long term development of the town; and
  • makes recommendations regarding the amenities and other improvement works.
Publicity & Communications Committee
  • provides and link with the residents and cultivates residents' participation and support of the Council's activities and policies; and
  • promotes the image of the Town Council.
